Audiobook Player is an audiobook player for Android. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and how you can control it.
The app collects crash and error reports to help us find and fix bugs. These reports are sent to Sentry (sentry.io) and include:
We do not collect book titles, file names or paths, playback history, or any information that identifies you as a person. The app has no user accounts and requires no registration.
Crash reporting is on by default. You can turn it off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Send crash reports. When turned off, no data is sent and the Sentry SDK is not initialised.
The "Send Feedback" button in Settings opens your device's email app with a pre-filled draft addressed to [email protected]. The email is sent from your own email account — we do not store or process it outside of normal email handling.
The only third-party service the app communicates with is Sentry (for crash reporting, described above). Sentry's own privacy policy is available at sentry.io/privacy.
Crash reports are retained in Sentry for 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted.
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
